Happy Monday!  We had a nice weekend at our house, and I hope you did too!  My married son and his bride came over yesterday to watch my hubby’s favorite football team (The Patriots) play, and we also relearned an old card game called Dutch Blitz.  It was a lot of fun!  It’s a fast moving card game for ages 8 and up, and I like it because I don’t have to think too hard and strategize, which is hard for my old worn out brain;  it’s just numbers in a row, moving fast.   If you’ve never played it, it’s an excellent game to add to your family’s repertoire of games!  🙂

I also served my family’s favorite Chicken, Black Bean and Salsa Soup which everyone enjoys and is easy to make for a crowd.

  1. Oh my all of that looks so good! I am trying the skillet lasagna from last week tonight! I have made skillet lasagna before, but not with bow tie noodles. I think that is going to make things so much easier! Thanks for sharing and posting so many wonderful ideas!
    That dessert! Sheesh! 🙂
