The temperatures are starting to climb around here, and sometimes a hot cup of coffee or tea just doesn’t cut it. So here’s a fresh healthy fruit drink to tide you over at snack time or anytime.
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 ice cubes
- 2 cups of orange juice
- 1 frozen peeled banana
- 1/8 tsp. almond extract (don’t use more, it will be too strong)
- 1 T sugar
- 1/2 cup powdered instant milk
- Add all ingredients to the blender and blend about 30 seconds till completely smooth, and serve.
Serves 2-4 depending on serving size.
Chilly, fruity, healthy and thick, perfect for breakfast or snack time!
