Awhile ago, I picked up some light little white and yellow stools, so when we have guests for meals, we can just easily bring up the stools for some additional seating at our kitchen table.
They were only $3.99, or I probably wouldn’t have bothered, because they don’t match my current table and chairs, and so I knew I would want to paint them.
I already had the spray paint leftover from a couple of other projects, one of which I will be showing you soon…
The tops just snapped right off, and so I got to work spray painting them. I soon found out it wasn’t that easy getting the skinny little legs covered, much to my husband’s chagrin, the overspray got on the garage floor. Lesson learned, use lots more floor covering.
After they were dry and put back together…
They’re ready to pull up to the table to easily accommodate a couple of extra guests. Plus, they match so much better!
what a simple
and cute idea
and $3.99?
perfect

You know, this is a great idea. We have smaller chairs for guests, but I never thought about a stool. That would save a lot of space. Great job!
Ahhh, the power of spray paint! Love the stuff!!
Cool idea. Very simple but very clever and works perfectly. I always get spray paint (or any other paint) everywhere when I paint especially on me:) Just hopping over to invite you to Freedom Fridays. Hope to see you there!
