Menu Plan for the Week of April 9th

We’ve got some trees blooming, and I enjoy them so much, along with the sunshine and warmth of spring. I’ll be getting my screened-in porch cleaned and prettied up here soon, and I’ll show you where I love to sit and enjoy the outdoors for a few minutes at a time.
Here is the EASY menu plan for this week:

Breakfast Options:
(Any combination of the following)
French toast
Cereal
Fruit
Waffles
Toast
Eggs
Oatmeal
Poptarts
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
Pancakes
English muffins
Muffins
Baked oatmeal
Breakfast cookies
Quiche

Lunch Options:
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta  (my kids love it)
Ravioli
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Vegetarian hamburgers
Hot dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Soup
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner

For Easter we got together with my sister and her family and had a bit of a non traditional Easter dinner with Oven Tacos and Ham and Swiss Sliders and Cinnamon Rolls, yum!

Dinners:

Chicken nuggets, baked french fries, apple slices and carrots
Grocery list: Chicken nuggets, french fries, apples, and carrots

Ham biscuits and fruit
Grocery list: Biscuits, ham and fruit

Ham and bean soup
and

Quick blender light rolls
Grocery list: Roll ingredients, celery, carrots, onion, great northern beans, chicken broth, ham, chili powder, garlic, bay leaf

Quiche and Banana bread
Grocery list: Pie crust, eggs, broccoli, cheddar cheese, bacon or ham, onion, white and whole wheat flour, sugar, bananas

Pizza
Grocery list: Dough ingredients, sauce, cheese, pepperoni, green peppers and onions
