Happy new week! I need to get busy planning my Thanksgiving Day menu. For the first time in years, I will be hosting, and since I don’t want to spend my whole day in the kitchen, I’ll probably take a few shortcuts, and make some things up ahead of time.
Breakfast Options:
(Any combination of the following)
French toast
Cereal
Fruit
Waffles
Toast
Eggs
Oatmeal
Poptarts
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
Pancakes
English muffins
Muffins
Baked oatmeal
Breakfast cookies

(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (my kids love it)

Macaroni and cheese

Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast

Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Dinner:
Meatball Gyros
Grocery list: Meatballs, pitas, Greek yogurt, cucumber, tomato, lemon juice and seasonings
Asian chicken salad
Grocery list: Chicken, coleslaw, lettuce, sliced almonds, tortilla strips and Asian dressing
Buffalo Chicken Soup
Grocery list: Celery, carrot, onion, chicken, chicken broth, buffalo sauce, cheddar cheese and brown rice
Veggie and cheese omelets, fruit and toast
Macaroni and Cheese, broccoli and grapes
Grocery list: macaroni noodles, Swiss and cheddar cheese (I don’t use the Gruyere listed in the recipe), breadcrumbs, milk, flour, broccoli and grapes
Grocery list: Dough ingredients, pizza sauce, ground beef or turkey, taco seasoning, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce and sour cream
I love that you plan out your grocery list! Even with menu planning I still seem to go to the store daily!
