What a puurrfectly chilly fall weekend! I am ready for some warm hearty fare. Hope you had a nice weekend. Here is what we’re craving at our house.
Breakfast Options: (Any combination of the following)
French toast
Cereal
Fruit
Waffles
Toast
Eggs
Oatmeal
Poptarts
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
Pancakes
Lunch Options:
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (My kids love it)
Ravioli
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Vegetarian hamburgers
Hot dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
English muffins
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Soup
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Leftovers from dinner
Dinners:
Chicken Nuggets (I bake them)
Teriyaki Chicken
(I use less vinegar than this recipe calls for)
Sun dried tomato pesto pasta and chicken–The picture doesn’t do it justice. I’ll get a better picture because it really is yummy. I will serve a veggie or salad with it.
(I use jarred pesto sauce and whatever chicken breast I have on hand)
Hot dogs
(We like Hebrew National 97% fat free with low fat turkey chili on them. It’s often our quick lunch for after church)
Turkey burgers
Scrambled eggs
Hope you have a profitable week!
The Teriyaki Chicken looks good!!!! And I’m amazed at all your lunch options! We are homeschoolers too, but our lunches are usually PB&J or cold cuts! 🙂
Everything looks so tasty! My little one loves pasta.
Have a great week 🙂
Looks good! We’re having pinto beans and cornbread for dinner to offset the cool weather.
