Pizza is a staple at our house. We’ve tried it with many different toppings besides just the regular cheese and pepperoni. We also like it with BBQ chicken, pesto sauce, feta and chicken or just lots of veggies (not all at the same time, of course). So when I saw this recipe for taco pizza, in one of my favorite cookbooks which I’ve mentioned here before, Taste of Homes 2003 Quick Cooking Annual Recipes, I definitely had to try it.

  • Top with cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees.
  • To serve, add your seeded and chopped tomatoes (You definitely want to seed them and get out the wet stuff so your pizza crust won't get soggy), and top with lettuce and sour cream.
  • Serves 3 or 4 depending on how hungry those 3 or 4 are!
  • If you like a little extra zing, drizzle some taco sauce over it.
