Lunchtime can be a challenge, especially when you’re trying to come up with new ideas that everyone in the family will enjoy. If you’re stumped or dealing with picky eaters, the key is to think outside the box and get creative with your meal planning. Here are a few lunch ideas to get you started.

  1. Pasta  (my kids love it) with butter and cheese or sauce
  2. Ravioli
  3. Macaroni and cheese
  4. Vegetarian corn dogs
  5. Vegetarian hamburgers
  6. Hot dogs (the “healthiest” kind you can find)
  7. Oven baked grilled cheese sandwiches
  8. Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
  9. Graham crackers and milk or peanut butter
  10. English muffins
  11. Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
  12. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
  13. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches
  14. Whole wheat toast – with avocado, jelly, peanut butter
  15. Soup – vegetable, tomato, chicken, broccoli cheddar, etc.
  16. Yogurt and/or cheese sticks, crackers
  17. Pretzels and cheese
  18. Hummus with crackers or pita bread
  19. Biscuit with egg and/or cheese
  20. Hardboiled eggs and toast or other grain
  21. Chips and salsa
  22. Bagels with/without cream cheese
  23. English muffins – with egg and cheese, butter, peanut butter, jelly, pizza toppings
