Meal Plan for the Week of January 12th
It’s official…Everyone in our family has been sick this week! I am craving some sunshine and a steak!
This fruity orange banana smoothie says “sunshine” to me, and it
may be as close to sunshine as I will be getting in the near future!
(Any combination of the following)
Egg whites and spinach (hubby’s choice)
Baked eggs and cheese casserole
Toasted peanut butter & banana sandwich
Coconut Quinoa Granola
(We like to add fruit and/or carrots to any of these “entrees”)
Pasta (my kids love it)
Macaroni and cheese
Vegetarian corn dogs
Chicken, turkey or ham sandwiches
Graham crackers and milk
Peanut butter and fluff sandwiches
Whole wheat toast
Yogurt or cheese sticks, crackers
Vegetable beef soup
Grocery list: Beef stew meat, onion, garlic, carrots, celery, potatoes, diced tomatoes, green beans, cabbage and beef broth
Rotisserie chicken nachos
Grocery list: Tortilla chips, rotisserie chicken, black beans, Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, green onions, jalapenos, taco seasoning, salsa, sour cream, lettuce
Mini Cheeseburger pies and raw veggies
Grocery list: Bisquick, ground beef, onion, cheddar cheese and raw veggies
Grocery list: Romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, turkey, avocado, bacon, blue cheese and dressing
General Tso’s chicken, and egg rolls (I get them from Sam’s Club)
Grocery list: Ground beef, 2 pie crusts, 2 cans vegetarian vegetable soup, 2-4 cups mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese
