We brought our new Christmas tree home today! We decided it was time to go with a “slimmer” artificial (I hate that word) model that would take up less floor space, and I’m so excited to try it out! I hope it will be enough tree for my littlest guy, as he can be picky about his Christmas trees… He’s so funny and adorable in how much he gets excited about the tree, and he’s the one who helps me the most with all the decorations. Every day while we have it up, he’s the one who jumps out of bed in the morning and runs to turn on the tree’s lights. I love his excitement! I’ll show you a picture when we get it up and decorated, hopefully this weekend.
I’m really trying not to stress about all the things I need to get done, and instead just take one day at a time, and really enjoy this season, the celebration of Christ’s birth, the Christmas music, lights, special baked goods, presents to shop for, fires in the fireplace, bright white snow on the ground, and the beautiful and fun decorations that make my home more beautiful and cozy. That’s a lot to enjoy! 🙂
